Unfortunately a shoulder injury has been keeping me from getting much done as of late, lots of rehab keeping me busy and tiring me out, but working on my computer for long periods is just too painful at the moment :(

But on a brighter note I was happy to see spot one of my images recently where I didn't expect it... on the promotional literature for the the 'Fierce Light Under Dark Skies' exhibition, which has now moved onto its second venue.

It's been confirmed the exhibition will definitely be moving to the Ulster Museum next year, which will be by far the biggest venue I have had work shown in... I may have to get busy and submit more work before that comes around and make the best of the opportunity.

Starting to make plans for an online shop, so I can maybe start to sell some of my work... watch this space.

It's been a while since I submitted any work for gallery exhibition, but I couldn't pass this one up...

'A Fierce Light Under Dark Skies'  is a 1st World War centenary art exhibition organized by the Belfast Print Workshop, just handed in my framed piece yesterday (a sneak peak has just been uploaded to my DA gallery), and it seems set to move around a few venues so I'm pretty excited about that :)

The opening event will be held next Wednesday in Belfast in the 5-star Merchant Hotel (yay, swanky) then it will move at a later date to the Belfast Print Workshop gallery (date still to be decided... it should have moved there straight afterwards, but it's been delayed due to a Banksey exhibit... ah well there are worse people to loose your exhibition spot to than Banksey I guess;) ), and next year to the Ulster Museum, which will be the biggest venue I've ever got my work displayed in, so like I say, pretty excited :)

Its dawned on me that while I've been busy re-acquainting myself with screen-printing, I haven't posted any of that work online (or anything else for that matter)

Often I work in so many styles and media, it can be hard to bring that work together under a common theme... some days I feel like a painter, some days a photographer, others a printer, some days I want to build something in 3D.... I've decided I need a project that will allow me to bring all these things together.

In that respect I'm thankful I discovered Dave Mckean back in my University days... it was through his work I learned how powerful Photoshop can be to bring together so many different competing artistic voices.

Will update this page soon I promise :)

Hi all

I just felt like I should take a moment to thank both those who organized the Odyssey project, and the wonderful group of contributors who not just took part, but really gave the whole thing a fantastic friendly supportive vibe throughout.   Also thank you David for modelling for my selected image, you were my good luck charm ;)

Really looking forward to seeing the outcome in print (and having my work included in a book featuring Clive Barker, as a major fan that boggles my mind).

This project has really re-sparked my love of producing mixed media digital work

Roll on Odyssey 3 :)
